River Rafting in Davao, Philippines
Who would have thought this braze sport has been around for over 30 years? Only crazy thrill seekers need apply to river rafting where you are spun in an inflatable raft as you try to navigate a river. When we were in Yosemite, they closed it off during the summer when the waters raging through because of melting ice. This one is in Davao, Philippines where as you can see, the water is not as rough but for those prone to heart attacks, still not recommended.

I can understand where they find the time- but the money? This is fantastic art in one of the more depressed areas in the Philippines. A close inspection shows the skill of the artist and the use of quite expensive materials.
