Our Campervan

I get possessive about my vehicles when I have to rely on them completely to get from one place to another. So this, our lovely campervan, was a trusted companion, both on the road and off when we needed to park and get some sleep or to tuck in a meal or two.
Thing is, these babies don't come cheap and of course if you're just travelling would rent and not buy. But hey, don't forget the insurance which can come in pretty darn handy, especially if you've never driven these behemoths on small dirt roads. Believe me, you'll need them as it is almost impossible not to scratch them against branches or rocks along the way.
I Miss New Zealand
It's been a few years since I was last in New Zealand and while I don't even remember taking a picture of this cow, it struck me anyway, just as it did the first time (although not a lasting impression since I totally forgot about it).
What’s ahead?
"Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail." - Ralph Waldo Emerson (US essayist & poet, 1803 - 1882)
Nature is amazing. Wonderful. Awesome. Awe-inspiring. People who live in the cities, myself included, need to get out every once in a while to remember how small we really are when compared to nature. We are but a speck in God's design and yet He loves us.

Was filing through my old photos when I found this, taken in New Zealand (North Island, somewhere in the middle)- what an amazing shot where you can see the mountains miles away.
